Flax seeds

As you already know, we grind the seeds before we use them in our recipes. This helps the metabolism and has a detoxifying effect. Flax seeds are rich in fibers, fatty acids, and vitamins. They are rich in Omega-3, which regulates the immune system, improves the biochemical processes in the body, and improves heart function. Flax seeds are also rich in lignans and they normalize the hormonal balance.

Flax seeds contain 20% protein, 30% carbohydrates, and over 40% fats. They are not only rich in Omega-3 but in Omega-6 and Omega-9, too. These seeds are a great source of magnesium, zinc, and vitamins B, E and A. People with diabetes can improve their blood sugar levels with flax seeds, and they also help fight ovarian cancer, lung cancer, and skin cancer.

Apple Flour

The apple flour is made of dried and ground to fine powder ripe apples. It can be added to teas, juice, shakes, cereal, cake batter, and creams for raw cakes and other raw desserts. It changes the color of the food to a darker shade. It also affects the flavor, adding a hint of natural apple. Apple flour also improves the fermentation processes because of its high sugar content and acts as a preservative because of its high acidity.

Sunflower Tahini

The raw material used to make sunflower tahini, the sunflower seeds, contains vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial elements and fibers, which are great for the body. Sunflower tahini contains magnesium, which lowers blood pressure, relieves migraines, as well as breathing spasms in asthmatics, and improves sleep in menopausal women.

The calcium in sunflower tahini prevents the loss of bone mass during menopause in women and thus prevents the development of osteoporosis. Tahini is one of the strong natural remedies for the prevention of osteoporosis.

It contains minerals such as manganese, selenium, phosphorus, and others - they help with pain and swelling in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. For people suffering from rheumatic diseases, it is recommended to consume sunflower tahini every day to strengthen bones and restore their elasticity.

Sea Salt

Sea salt contains fluoride, which is good for dental health. Fluoride helps protect teeth from acid damage and prevents the development of caries. Regular rinsing and gargling with cool sea salt water help relieve mouth sores, bleeding gums, ulcers, and sore throat pain. Sea salt is rich in minerals and research shows that its anti-inflammatory effect is due to the presence of high magnesium content. The mineral helps eliminate toxins and improves blood circulation.

The consumption of sea salt has an alkalizing effect on the body. This way, it helps balance the level of acidity in the body. It can also strengthen the immune system. Sea salt also contains good amounts of vitamins, especially vitamin C. Together with the minerals in it, cell metabolism is improved, vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant, and a large part of free radicals are eliminated.

Coconut Flour

Coconut flour is a unique and delicious alternative to wheat and other grain flour. The fine white flour is produced by grinding the dried inner part of the coconut. Unlike other flours, coconut flour has a natural fiber content of 75% (9-10 grams in two tablespoons). Fiber is critical to maintaining healthy digestion and to the body's elimination and detoxification processes.

Experts recommend consuming 20-15 grams of fiber per day. While most grains (namely wheat, corn, and soybeans) are mass-grown on depleted industrial farm soils and subject to genetic modification, coconuts are a refreshing source of naturally occurring minerals.

According to studies, coconut flour has a lowering effect on the glycemic index. Its low content of simple carbohydrates, combined with its high fiber content, make it a flour that has a beneficial effect on blood sugar levels.
